Got to wake up early in the morning again! Well it has been like 5 months since i got to wake up early for school, and for the first time i am going to a school that is away from my home. I met Shihui at the bus stop which was always crowded during peak hours. Then we saw Liching who happen to be waiting for 187. We waited for sm, pl and zy at the interchange to take bus to RP. Sm brought her new friend she noe from the forum to join us. Take 169 there and we starts to look for our classroom. Sm's new friend suggests having a seat at the canteen first but i suggest not to because we have to have a habit of reaching early to class. But i dun mean be so fierce towards her, i mean i dun think i am until sm told me ytd in msn. But for those who know me they will noe my way of speaking to friends. Well to me it looks like we are getting late because it was 8.15 already and class starts at 8.30 and it was our first day of course we are not so familiar to our new school. So it is good to have that 15 mins to search for our classroom.
My classroom is at block W3 Level 5 Class F. Well sm is at W2, zy, pl and sh is at W4. So i am alone lik sm. >< I went to search for block W#'s lift so as to get to level 5 and walk around there to search for my classroom. Unlike Secondary school where the class name is indicate using big bold fonts. In RP you got to get near the door to take a look at the class name. They are TINY. haha. I found my classroom and i enter in. I was the third one the reach there. A classroom that dun look lik a classroom to me. White walls, long glass windows, 5 tables, 25 chairs. It looks more like a meeting room to me! Really!
Classmates starts coming in and seated down, took out their laptop and switch it on. Then comes our facilitator. The facilitator for ytd was Ram. Then he starts by asking us do we like exams. Well no one answers him. Then he said "In RP we had NO EXAMS". Then he ask again "Do you all like lectures?". Silents again. "In RP we have NO LECTURES". Wow. Then what for we come to school ? Then he starts to explain how the school systems work and explain how we can get our grades from. But the time table goes like this, : 8.30 - 9.30 (First meeting) 9.30 - 10.30 (Break ) 10.30 - 11.30 (Second meeting) 11.30 - 2.00 (Lunch Break ) 2.00 - 4.00 (Last meeting) For the lunch break it last for 2 and a half hour. I think there is a reason for it maybe. I mean for the first day and it is only year one students, the canteen is already flooded! RP currently only have 2 canteens. Faint~ and i queue up for my food and i have to queue up to 30mins to get my food ordered. I think we have to bring along our own lunch if school reopens. I cannot imagine how the 2 canteens can sqeeze in so many students.
Hope the third canteen will open SOON. (pray hard)
For today's campus orientation i dun not went for it because that i having a bad flu since Tuesday. It all started after i got a sore throat. So i decided to stay at home and let it recover so that i can go to school on Monday! haha.. ^^
School gonna start like less than a week? Well i start coming from the day we start our Orientation and that is on the 11th april. Oh man! it has been like 5 months i never even touch a book yeah and now school gonna start. Well i dun even have to buy a book before the school starts. Weird. But thinking of carrying that 1.8kg laptop to school almost everyday, faint. Not that it is that heavy but overall it is a laptop, what if i drop it, or spolit it? That will be mine end of the world i think. haha But i am still not so used to have that laptop. It is totally stranger to me. Well i will tey my best to "fall in love" with it then. Now i got problems with my outlook express. I can't get new e-mails and what the school had sent i can never get to see. Gonna ask the people there during orientation.
Gonna start a new life there!
